THE PURPOSE

OF THIS RESOURCE

The purpose of this resource is to offer professional insight and streamline the process of learning what gear is best suited for you and your needs when it comes to storm chasing. What I believe sets this apart from other online resources about photo gear is that this is coming from someone who gets it. I chase storms. I've been photographing Mother Nature's best for the better half of my life, and it's given me a plethora of information, both meteorologically and photographically. What was once a hobby has now become a passion and a career. I want to use my passion and my knowledge and share. This is the place I can do that.

LET'S ASK OURSELVES A FEW THINGS

It's no secret that photography can get very expensive very quickly. It's important to ask yourself some questions when deciding on what gear you should go with...

1) What is my budget?

2) Do I plan to stick with the same system long-term?

3) What are my needs vs. wants?

4) Am I proofing myself for the future?

5) What kind of reliability does my gear offer me?

We're going to dive into each of these of these questions and hopefully, find some transparency for what equipment best suits you.
